@molta has already explained it well: the comments in the [VFRnav checklist file](https://forum.vfrnav.com/t/vfrnav-checklist-file-format/225) are only for your own documentation and to structure the file’s contents.

They do not affect how VFRnav displays the checklist and therefore are not included by the app as visible checklist content.

If you have any further questions about this, feel free to ask them here in the forum.
