I’m not sure to what extent this could be implemented, but would there be a way to display the weather on the map? For example, like on WetterOnline’s weather map or precipitation map.
That would probably only be possible with an internet connection.

a warm welcome to the forum, and thank you very much for your suggestion for improvement!
Weather display is indeed a major item on our ToDo list, and several extensions are already planned.
We are currently working on displaying wind direction and strength directly on the map.
The next step will be to visualise the current weather situation as well as the short- and medium-term GAFOR along a planned route.
Rainfall display is also on my wish list. However, some external factors come into play here – so I can’t promise anything yet.
