Feature request: Additional information in the PIB

Hello!

Definitely “a nice to have” for the PIB but I’d still like to raise it here:

  • Frequencies at waypoints: If a waypoint is an airfield or a VOR or an NDB, then indicate the frequency (for airfields, the TWR) next to the waypoint name
  • Symbols for waypoints: Use the same symbols as in the app GUI for printing in the PIB

Thanks for the really good idea. :+1:
I’m afraid it’s too complex regarding PDF readability, especially for mobile users.
For larger CTRs, several frequencies come into play. They would all be listed then. The PIB would become considerably longer.
Apart from an RP, I’m afraid that’s not feasible. Possibly underneath (even in landscape)

The suggestion is great! I also add the frequencies by hand with a pen. (when it’s ever in paper form)

Maybe @H655 will have a brilliant idea again.

The idea of including frequencies in the PIB is already on our to-do list :+1: We’re planning a separate section or page with the important frequencies along the route.

So far we haven’t implemented it yet — exactly for the reasons Karsten already mentioned: the PIB would become even longer as a result.

That ultimately led to the idea of making the PIB more configurable going forward. Individual sections could then be shown or hidden as needed.
