Integrating airspaces

Hello everyone,

I tried to import an airspace file via Settings/Map Settings/Manage External Map Content

The file (it is in the Open Air format) is also shown there with the note “airspace overlay”. However, the additional airspaces are unfortunately not displayed on the map. What am I doing wrong?

Hello,

this guide describes how to embed maps. Interesting option — I didn’t know that was possible. However, I would like to embed an airspace file (e.g., for tow routes) that is then displayed as an overlay on the normal map background.

Hello Andreas,

  • Possibly a problem with the file permissions. → Try copying it on Android, e.g., to Documents or a subfolder. Close VFRnav, restart it and load the file from that location.
