Just out of interest: roughly how many minutes are NOTAM updates lagging behind the DFS notifications (this, of course, applies to all third-party providers)? I noticed yesterday and today for the first time that new NOTAMs had already been entered on the DFS site that had not yet been reported in VFRNav (and everywhere else, of course) — but then they did appear later. This was specifically about ice-related runway closures…

Usually a few minutes. Depending on the “volume” of NOTAMs to be processed in the data stream, this can be up to a maximum of 180 minutes. Usually, though, considerably less.

I think a very concrete example regarding your post would have been helpful for analysis. It goes without saying that publications from the originator will appear there first. The information must be fetched by VFRnav (if it then has internet access!) via APIs. After that, this data/information is made available in VFRnav. If you notice an error, please describe it here
