VFRnav 4.11 is a quality-of-life update focused on improving stability, reliability, and user experience. It includes numerous fixes and enhancements based on user feedback.
What’s New?
- Improved: More reliable connection handling for Bluetooth LE devices
- Improved: Airspace warnings significantly enhanced and now enabled by default
- New: Long-pressing a frequency in the airspace or airport info screen now pre-fills the input dialog (requires active radio connection)
- New: TMZ frequencies in the vertical airspace profile are now tappable
- New: Added a new aircraft icon for trikes/hang gliders
- New: Audible alert now played when an airspace warning is triggered
- Fix: Aircraft icon was not centered correctly on some devices
- Fix: Dialog for selecting aircraft icon color displayed incorrectly on tablets
- Fix: Approach charts are now sorted by size when displayed on the map
- Fix: Improved decoding of GDL90 traffic data
