VFRnav Update – Version 4.12 Released! 
VFRnav 4.12 introduces several new customization options and improves both usability and reliability – especially during flight. Here’s what’s new:
What’s New?
- Improved: Airspace warnings now support audible alerts – useful when flying with a Bluetooth-enabled headset
- New: Customize your aircraft icon – adjust color, size, and also configure the track line and heading line to your preference
- New: Map declutter options to hide irrelevant airspaces for better situational awareness
- New: Enter decimal values for fuel consumption, allowing for more precise flight planning → See discussion in the forum
Fixes & Improvements
- Fix: Certain frequencies (e.g., 128.950) were not correctly processed by connected radios – now fixed
- Fix: The setting for whether to send the active or standby frequency to the radio was not retained after restarting VFRnav – now fixed → Reported here
- Fix: Display of AGL-based lower airspace limits has been corrected
- Improved: Stratux via Bluetooth – connection timeouts adjusted for increased reliability
- Improved: Position info dialog redesigned for better clarity and usability
