[Release] VFRnav 4.12

:small_airplane: VFRnav Update – Version 4.12 Released! :tada:

VFRnav 4.12 introduces several new customization options and improves both usability and reliability – especially during flight. Here’s what’s new:

:sparkles: What’s New?

  • Improved: Airspace warnings now support audible alerts – useful when flying with a Bluetooth-enabled headset
  • New: Customize your aircraft icon – adjust color, size, and also configure the track line and heading line to your preference
  • New: Map declutter options to hide irrelevant airspaces for better situational awareness
  • New: Enter decimal values for fuel consumption, allowing for more precise flight planning → See discussion in the forum

:hammer_and_wrench: Fixes & Improvements

  • Fix: Certain frequencies (e.g., 128.950) were not correctly processed by connected radios – now fixed
  • Fix: The setting for whether to send the active or standby frequency to the radio was not retained after restarting VFRnav – now fixed → Reported here
  • Fix: Display of AGL-based lower airspace limits has been corrected
  • Improved: Stratux via Bluetooth – connection timeouts adjusted for increased reliability
  • Improved: Position info dialog redesigned for better clarity and usability

The update was only released today. It may take some time before it reaches all devices. Usually, this happens within 48 hours. Please be patient :grinning_face:
