[Release] VFRnav 4.31

VFRnav 4.31

We’re happy to announce the release of VFRnav 4.31!

This update introduces several new ways to share and export routes, improves route management, and brings additional customization options to iOS users.

What’s New?

  • New: Route Sharing
You can now easily share your planned routes with other VFRnav users, making it much easier to exchange flight plans with fellow pilots.

  • New: Garmin Pilot Integration
Routes can now be sent directly from VFRnav to the Garmin Pilot app. This also provides a convenient way to transfer your planned routes to compatible Garmin EFIS systems, such as the Garmin G3X, via Garmin Pilot.

  • New: App Language Selection on iOS
iOS users can now choose their preferred VFRnav language independently of the device’s system language. This option is available in the iOS app settings. Android has supported this functionality for some time, and we’re happy to bring it to iOS as well.

  • Improved: Route Management
The options menu in route management has been completely redesigned, providing quicker and easier access to route-related actions and settings.

  • New: Local Route Export on Android
Routes can now be saved directly to local storage on Android without requiring additional file manager apps. This makes exporting routes as GPX or KML files much more convenient.

:hammer_and_wrench: Bug Fixes

  • Fix: Incorrect altitude values when creating a return flight.

  • Fix (iOS): The option to import routes was missing.
