VFRnav provides, with the integrated distance measurement, the ability to determine distances and bearings directly on the map, independently of any existing route.
Activating the measuring tool
To start the measuring function, simply touch the map with two fingers simultaneously and hold briefly.
A virtual ruler will then appear, connecting two points.
The endpoints can be moved freely on the map to measure any desired distances.
Displayed values
During the measurement, the following are shown automatically:

Distance (in nautical miles or kilometres, depending on the settings)

Bearing in both directions

Estimated flight time (Airtime), provided an aircraft with a known cruise speed is selected
Note:
The time value (“Airtime”) does not take wind components into account and is for guidance purposes only.
