Is Skyecho 2 usable?

Can VFR Nav do anything with the data from a SkyEcho 2?

Works like a charm! Just pair it in the settings and you’re good to go.

However, the SkyEcho 2 doesn’t send Flarm data. For that you apparently need some kind of license from Flarm. I don’t know whether that’s even possible.

But ADS-B data is shown directly on the map. Like everything, it’s been implemented really well in VFRnav.

If it’s Flarm you want, I’d recommend a Stratux. But you’ll need to be a bit tech‑savvy, or have someone who can help or build it. Karsten here on the forum is probably the right contact :grinning_face:

According to uavionix’s website, the SE2 also detects FLARM.

There’s no mention of any additional license being required.
