For me, the preview of the vertical airspace cross-section at the current position is an important feature because of airspaces and terrain ahead of me. Once I activate a planned route, I can go through the entire route and view the altitude profile, but I have to do this manually in flight and keep adjusting it. Is there a reason why this view is not automatically tracked to the current position? If that’s not possible, it would also be very helpful if I could switch the airspace cross-section to the preview without the route (which always starts from the current position) even while a route is active. I would prefer to forgo the option to display the entire route.
thanks a lot for the quick reply! Ok, then it seems the switch to Live mode isn’t working for me. I experienced this on a Xiaomi Redmi 14C and a Xiaomi MI Pad 4, both on 4.24.2. Today I updated to 4.26.2 but haven’t been able to test it yet. Yes, the profile is created and active on both devices; I didn’t change the time logging, it’s set to 20 kt. I just noticed that no cruise altitude is entered — could that be a problem? Also, I always fly in offline mode, i.e. no internet connection, only GPS. The Pad has no SIM card.
