Hello Daniel,
That’s correct — Class E airspace is not shown in the airspace cross-section.
This is a deliberate decision and is intended to keep the display in the airspace cross-section as clear as possible.
The operational impact of Class E airspace in normal VFR operations is generally less critical than for many other airspace classes. Therefore we decided not to show it in the vertical cross-section.
I believe I’ve already written something more detailed about the background here on the forum.
If it turns out that a larger number of users would like to see Class E airspace in the airspace cross-section, we could consider an optional display in the settings. That wouldn’t be a problem ![]()
Fly safe

Thanks Hermann, that’ll be fine as is, I just wanted to be sure it wasn’t a setting. If one day you put them on the profile, it could be a simple faint blue line in the background.
More or less on the same subject, I noticed there were major military maneuvers with a ZRT (temporary regulated zone — Zone réglementée temporaire) that was activated by NOTAM.
This ZRT overlaps an R46 zone and extends it upward to 6500ft instead of the usual 2100ft. It’s a trap because it’s charted at 2100ft year‑round, so you don’t suspect it will go up for maneuvers (!)
I couldn’t find a way, from the NOTAMs or the SUP-AIP (AIP supplement), to detect the vertical extension, more precisely to locate it graphically. (I spotted it on another piece of software I use in parallel; I always plan on two different programs
)
I think it would be a huge job to plot the SUP-AIPs and temporary zones on the map and on the profile.![]()

It’s a full‑time job
24/7!
The simplest is to fly in contact with the SIV (Service d’Information de Vol — SIV), which then provides real‑time information (FIS — Flight Information Service). But I’ve already flown across France twice with radio failure… so I’ll have to watch out for these military zones that swell like Blobs some days
.
Safe flights!
