Two ideas: RMZ airspace warning and route warnings

Dear VFRnav team,

two ideas:

  1. Could you add the RMZ (Radio Mandatory Zone) to the airspace warnings? Anyone who doesn’t want it can, like the others, disable it. I would find that very handy…

  2. In another navigation app :wink: there are warnings for the route, e.g., when minimum flight altitudes are not observed or when the route accidentally enters an ED-R area… I would love that too!

  1. I think we can do that :+1: It’s on the to-do

  2. Could you describe this suggestion in a bit more detail? Do you mean that when someone plans a route, a notification appears if it crosses an ED-R (restricted area) or similar?

re 1.) thanks!

re 2.) What I mean is that during route planning a warning should appear if you accidentally cross an ED-R. However, since you normally check the route anyway, it occurs to me that this feature would only really make sense for, for example, ED-Rs that are active only on certain days or times of day. That would, however, require being able to plan a route for a specific day or time, so it’s a bit more effort than I initially realized. A warning about minimum altitude would also be nice, but the manual check has actually become much easier thanks to the vertical view. In that sense… it was just a suggestion that would need a bit more thinking.
