Hello,
I’m currently preparing for an exam and wanted to use VFRnav as a calculation tool.
As proof, the PIB is to be used.
What I miss at the top of the first page of the PIB are the basics of the calculation.
Namely the data entered in the calculation for the aircraft: TAS, fuel consumption and the weather data: wind direction and wind speed.
The calculation and the PIB are only valid with these data.
Furthermore, it would be great if one didn’t have to manually look up the wind data separately from the weather along the route, but if VFRnav itself incorporated these into the calculation. After all, the data are available under the Weather tab. If there are no data, a note can point this out, then you would have to check, e.g. with the DWD anyway.
Normally, the system updates the apps automatically.
If not, search for VFRnav in the Play Store (Android) or in the Apple Store (iOS) and see if the update option is offered there.
